This is totally wrong and will get your app rejected from the Windows Store. Metro apps do have isolated storage, see http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/05/17/delivering-reliable-and-trustworthy-metro-style-apps.aspx for a discussion of this misuse of the documents library. Using the Documents library will also break things like syncing settings via your Microsoft Account.

Comment on "It's expensive getting hardware to test on" is not an excuse for web devs on a Mac to avoid IE testing by Jon Galloway

These scripts make it even easier to install the IE VHD's: https://github.com/xdissent/ievms

Comment on "It's expensive getting hardware to test on" is not an excuse for web devs on a Mac to avoid IE testing by WebDev

Being Microsoft is not an excuse to build a browser that ignores so many standards. Testing an application that has been built according all standards shouldn't even need to be tested in IE - it should just work.

Yet, IE9 is a step in the right direction, but it still isn't a grown-up browser.

Comment on "It's expensive getting hardware to test on" is not an excuse for web devs on a Mac to avoid IE testing by Den Delimarsky

Updated the post. So an investment of $0. Microsoft has VPC VHDs with different versions of IE on their download site which are also $0.

I submitted but have received no further contact. In the rules it says to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of device, but I would assume they actually tell you you're getting one first. Anyone got word? If so, when did you submit?

Comment on Getting Windows Phone apps back into the Zune Desktop Client by Den Delimarsky

Содержание файла надо отдельно скопировать и сохранить.
